Classes offered Tuesday + Wednesday in July and August

 

 

Studio will close the week of July 2nd-6thHappy 4thof July everyone.

 

July and August the studio will be open 8 week session, 4 pass, or drop in.

I need 2 people to register for the session to hold the class so check the website the second week of July (7/16) to see if any classes have been dropped. 

 

Tue. 7/10 –Tue. 8/28      8 Week session

9-10 AM  Hatha   (moving practice)

Meditation 4:30 – 5pm (Dana)

5:15-6: 15 Hatha  (moving practice)

6:30 – 7:30  Restorative  Yoga 7/10 + 7/24  ( resting in supported postures)

                  Yoga Nidra  7/17 +7/31– guided practice in stillness (alternating weeks)

                 August will alternate unless interest ways in favor of one of the two forms. (I    

                 will update the end of July)

 

Wednesday  7/11- 8/29

Meditation 4:30 – 5pm (Dana)

5:15 -6:15 Hatha Yoga  (moving practice)

6:30- 7:30 Hatha  Yoga (moving practice)

 

Full Session Price: $ 96.00,  4 pass - $ 55.00, Drop in $ 15.00

Benefits of Meditation

Meditation helps us on many levels, from simple relaxation to freedom from suffering and full liberation of heart and mind. It allows us to:

·       defuse stress and experience greater calm

·       explore the mind-body relationship

·       connect to our feelings

·       expand our sense of who we are, beyond our fears and self-judgment

·       find genuine happiness

·       discover inner resources that can change our everyday lives

·       awaken our capacity for insight and wisdom

·       transform our worldview from one of isolation and confusion to one of connection, clarity and compassion

 

·       broaden our perspective and deepen our courage, based on seeing things just as they are

 

Regular Meditation Practice can be supported in a group setting. Please feel free to attend any of the sessions at Embrace Life Today  during the week to help you begin and/or support your continued practice at home.

 

Sessions are open. Please arrive a few minutes prior to sit time so that we can begin together. Chairs and cushions are provided.

 

Please not there may be a yoga class coming in or going before or after meditation times. Please be mindful to enter and exit in a timely quiet manner. ~ Thank you~

 

Dana: The Meditation time and space is offered to you by Embrace Life Today. Dana is a form of generosity practice. Making a donation for this space and time is appreciated. These donations are used to support teens in various ways. Teen Meditation Retreat at the Insight Meditation Society and Al-Teen Conference have both been recipients of the donations this year.

Reflexology/ Reiki Session

Available at the Studio by appointment.

Tuesday’s, Friday’s, or Sunday’s 1-6 pm (except 1st Sunday of each month or when there is a workshop scheduled)

$ 45.00 for 1 hour session

$ 25.00 ½ hour session

These sessions provide deep relaxation. They can be either Reiki or Reflexology or a combination session of both.
